Founded in 2018, Uxbridge Piano School provides personalised music lessons for children and adults in Uxbridge, Hayes and West Drayton. Our experienced, DBS-checked teachers offer piano, violin, guitar, drums, singing, flute and clarinet lessons for beginners through to advanced students, including ABRSM and Trinity exam preparation.

Our Aim

Our aim is to make high-quality music education engaging, supportive and accessible. Every lesson is tailored to the student’s age, ability and goals. We help students build confidence, develop strong musical skills and enjoy regular opportunities to perform and prepare for ABRSM or Trinity examinations.

Our History

Uxbridge Piano School was founded in 2018 by professional musicians Andrei and Vera Pojoga. Beginning with private piano and violin lessons in West London, the school grew through recommendations from local families. Today, our team teaches children and adults across Uxbridge, Hayes and West Drayton while maintaining a personal approach for every student.


Meet Your Teachers

Andrei Pojoga

Andrei Pojoga is a qualified pianist and experienced music teacher. He began playing piano at the age of six and earned both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music from Kharkiv University of Arts in 2009.

His students have performed in concerts and competitions, with many achieving excellent examination results. Andrei has also performed across Europe and has taught students in London since 2017. His lessons combine strong musical foundations with an encouraging, personalised approach.

Vera Pojoga

VIOLIN TEACHER

Vera Pojoga is a highly skilled violinist and experienced violin teacher. She began playing the violin at the age of 5, continuing her formal education at a renowned music school and college. She earned both her BMus and Master’s degrees in 2009. Throughout her studies, Vera was supported by her family and teachers in striving for the highest level of performance on both the violin and piano. During university, she had the opportunity to serve as the first violinist at the Chernivtsi Drama Theatre. Since 2017, Vera has been dedicated to teaching violin in London, sharing her passion and expertise with her students.

Lauren Breen

Lauren Breen is a London-based musician and experienced teacher specialising in saxophone, flute, clarinet and piano. She graduated with First-Class Honours from Trinity Laban Conservatoire and has performed at renowned events and venues, including the BBC Proms, Ronnie Scott’s and the London Jazz Festival. Lauren teaches jazz, classical and popular music, creating enjoyable and inspiring lessons tailored to each student’s interests and goals.

Her friendly and encouraging approach helps students of all abilities build confidence, develop their individual style and achieve their musical goals.

Alexandra Massaleva

Alexandra Massaleva is a classically trained pianist and experienced educator with a rich background in international performance and teaching. She has performed as a soloist and chamber musician across Europe and Asia, with notable appearances at prestigious venues such as the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), the Mariinsky Theatre, and major festivals including Palermo Classica and the Batumi Black Sea Music Festival. Her performances have been featured on Mezzo TV, Radio Classique, and Radio Suisse Espace 2.

Alexandra has held faculty positions at respected music institutions in ItalyGeorgiathe UAE, and Vietnam, including the Institute of Musical Studies in CremonaMusic Academy DubaiDorime Music Academy in Tbilisi, and the Performing Music Academy in Vietnam. She has also delivered masterclasses at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music.

Eva-Maria Braun

Eva Alexandre has won1st prize in International Competitions in London, Paris and New York. She has performed extensively throughout Europe, North and South America and Hong Kong.

Fluent in italian, french, german and english, Eva looks forward to working together with yourself and your children to give them the skills and knowledge to progress on their musical adventure.

Tanvi Mavuri

Music Theory, Flute, recorder teacher

Tanvi Mavuri is a student at Brunel University London with a deep passion for music. With over 13 years of experience, recognition has been earned in prestigious competitions such as the Mozart International Competition in Korea and the JoongAng Music News Competition. Holding distinctions in ABRSM Grade Music Theory and Trinity College Grade 8 Music Performance, music has played a significant role in developing both musicianship and teaching skills. Teaching children is one of the greatest joys, with a focus on making lessons engaging and enjoyable. The goal is to inspire a lifelong love of music in every student taught.

Egle Jones
piano teacher

Egle has been singing and playing piano since the age of 5.  Her strong passion and years of determination eventually gained her a place at the prestigious Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in 2002. It was here that she gained advanced knowledge in Classical music and Choir conducting for both piano and voice.
Egle was runner up in the Lithuanian reality TV show ‘Dangus’. Her popularity from this gained her an audition for the Eurovision Song Contest.
Egle moved to the UK In 2008 to further her piano studies at Tech Music Schools in Acton.  She completed the Cert HE course in 2011.

DJORDJE JOVANOVIC

Jazz PIANO Teacher

Djordje started learning the piano at 7 years old with private tuition. Soon after, at the age of 10, he was offered a place to study at the Purcell School for Young Musicians, where he studied classical piano for 8 more years. Throughout his time at Purcell, Djordje has performed many solo piano recitals at various venues such as Purcell Room in Southbank Centre, St James Piccadilly etc. Towards the end of his studies at Purcell, Djordje took an interest in jazz piano. Djordje is currently a jazz piano student at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama working on his undergraduate degree.

Oleksandra Vonsovych

Classical singing teacher

Oleksandra trained in vocal performance and piano from an early age, with multiple international competition wins. Holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Classical Vocal Performance from the Odesa National Music Academy.

Performance experience includes work as an opera soloist in South Korea, with the Odesa Philharmonic, and on the Ellen Kent Opera UK Tour (2024). Brings over six years of teaching experience, preparing students for exams, competitions, and public performances.

 

Subash Rana

Drum teacher

A professional drummer with over 10 years of experience in performing, recording, and teaching. Trained at BIMM London (University of Sussex) with a BMUS (Hons) in Popular Music Performance, and has since toured, recorded albums and EPs, and performed at major events, including the prestigious New Blood Stage at Bloodstock Festival 2025 with the band Mechromorph.

Alongside performing, extensive teaching experience includes private one-to-one lessons and work as a drum tutor at the British School of Rock in Weybridge. Lessons are designed to be engaging, fun, and tailored to each student—helping beginners build confidence and giving advanced players the skills to reach their full potential.
